Luma x Carat Collaboration

We recently teamed up with Carat Jewellery for a special custom request: to transform a rare Levon I silver coin into a wearable pendant — without damaging the coin.

This coin, minted during the reign of King Levon I of Cilician Armenia, is a rare and beautiful piece of medieval Armenian history. To ensure the coin remained completely intact, it was mounted without any drilling or damage. Carat Jewellery crafted a refined silver bezel, secured with four delicate gold prongs, and finished it with a golden bail for hanging on a chain.

The result is a stunning blend of history and modern design — a unique, elegant necklace that honors Armenian heritage while preserving the integrity of the original coin.
