This large and striking medieval Armenian silver pendant, dating from the 17th to 19th century, showcases traditional craftsmanship in a crescent or teardrop shape, featuring intricate repoussé and punchwork detailing. At its center is a raised design, possibly stylized to resemble a bird or figure, encircled by a radiating border pattern with dotted and geometric motifs.
Equipped with multiple small loops along the edge, it likely once held dangling elements or was part of a larger ceremonial or festive adornment. The piece weighs 6.17 grams and spans 55 mm in diameter, indicating its significance, either as a central jewelry element or protective talisman. Despite surface patina from age, it's preserved in good very fine condition, retaining its historical and artistic charm.
